The downsides I've found so far are it takes ages to boot, and your soundcard may not be supported, but it comes in a LiveCD so you can try it without installing it, but since you've been using linux for a while you probably already know that. It reminds me more of cubase than audition. ![]() It has some demos for rosegarden, which is a multitrack editor and seemingly you can combine midi adn audio tracks and link it with other apps. It is a linux distribution compiled specifically for media production and comes with many apps already integrated. I installed it a few days ago and it's quite impressive.
